Safety, Reporting, Blocking & Moderation
Effective date: 13 August 2026
Version: 1.0
1. Purpose
This policy explains RandomFlirt's current user-safety tools. It does not promise that every harmful message will be detected or prevented.
2. Report
Use Report when you believe content or conduct violates the Terms or Community Guidelines. Provide truthful, relevant information. RandomFlirt may review available context necessary to assess the report.
3. Block
Use Block to prevent or limit further interaction with a user according to the live product. Blocking is a user control and does not automatically mean the blocked person violated the law.
4. Skip/leave
In Random Flirt, users can use the existing skip/leave controls to end an unwanted random interaction. Leaving should not require the other user's permission.
5. Simple blocked-word filter
RandomFlirt may prevent a message from being sent when it contains a centrally configured prohibited word/phrase or a simple obfuscated variation. For this first-stage filter:
- the recipient does not receive the blocked message;
- the message does not appear as a normal chat-history item;
- the sender receives a temporary Community Guidelines warning;
- the simple block alone does not automatically ban, suspend, restrict or report the sender.
This simple filter is not a criminal-detection system and must not be described as one.
6. Human/admin review
Existing reports may be reviewed by authorized administrators/moderators using the production moderation system. Access should be limited to what is necessary and protected by appropriate security controls.
7. Serious or illegal content
RandomFlirt may preserve, restrict, disclose or report information when required by applicable law, valid legal process, safety obligations or a properly approved internal procedure. The current launch scope does not include an automatic child-abuse-to-police reporting engine.
8. Emergencies
RandomFlirt is not an emergency service. If someone faces immediate danger, contact the relevant local emergency authority.
9. Appeals/complaints
Where the law requires a moderation appeal, statement of reasons or complaint mechanism, RandomFlirt will provide it through the applicable process. Users may also contact [email protected] about moderation errors.
